Christ In All | Unity Ep. 29.3 | Sacred Text References
Welcome to Awakening Heaven on Earth. Before we begin, take a moment to arrive. There is nothing you need to do, nothing you need to believe and nowhere you need to go. Simply listen, contemplate, and notice what stirs and resonates within you. This is a shared space of reflection, presence, and remembrance.
Jeffrey Aylor:Now, let us begin. Welcome to this episode focused on Christ in All, the Universal Christ, Sacred Text References. In this episode, we listen for the light of the universal Christ reflected through sacred teachings from many traditions. We are not listening to erase difference. We are not listening to claim that every path is the same.
Jeffrey Aylor:We are listening for the divine presence, the consciousness of unity, the light that awakens love, compassion, dignity, reverence, and oneness in the human heart. As each sacred reference is offered, receive the words slowly. Allow the teaching to become personal. Then let your heart respond in prayer. Let us begin.
Jeffrey Aylor:In Christianity, in the Gospel of John chapter one verse four. In him was life, and the life was the light of all people. First, receive these words slowly. In Him was life, and the life was the light of all people. Now allow this teaching to become personal.
Jeffrey Aylor:What if the Christ is not one man, nor a doctrine to believe, but the living light of divine life shining through all people? What if the life revealed in Jesus is the same life calling every soul toward love, mercy, forgiveness, and unity? This teaching invites us to see Christ as life itself, the light alive within humanity. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Living Christ, awaken your light within me.
Jeffrey Aylor:Help me see your life shining in every person I meet. Let me honor the sacred life that belongs to all people. Amen. Again. In Christianity.
Jeffrey Aylor:In the Gospel of John, chapter 17, verse 21. Jesus prays that they may all be one. First, receive these words slowly. That they may all be one. Now allow this teaching to become personal.
Jeffrey Aylor:Where am I still living as though separation is the final truth? Where do I hold another person, another tradition, or another community outside the circle of love? This prayer of Jesus reveals the heart of Christ consciousness. Union with God expressed as union with one another. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer.
Jeffrey Aylor:Beloved Christ, make me an answer to your prayer. Heal the illusion of separation within me. Teach me to live as one with God, one with humanity, and one with all creation. Amen. Once again in Christianity.
Jeffrey Aylor:In the letter to the Colossians, chapter one, verse 17, teaches that in Christ all things hold together. First, receive this wisdom slowly. In Christ, all things hold together. Now allow this teaching to become personal. What if Christ is not merely part of creation, but the hidden unity holding creation together?
Jeffrey Aylor:What if every atom, every breath, every creature, every relationship, and every act of love is held within the divine pattern of wholeness? This teaching invites us to see the universal Christ as the sacred coherence of life. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Christ who holds all things together, hold my life in your love. Gather the divided places within me.
Jeffrey Aylor:Let me become a presence of coherence, healing, and unity in the world. Amen. In Hinduism. In the Bhagavad Gita, chapter six, verse 32. When a man sees all beings as equal in suffering and in joy, he is deemed a supreme yogi.
Jeffrey Aylor:First, receive these words slowly, seeing all beings as equal in suffering and in joy. Now allow this teaching to become personal. Can I feel the pain of another as worthy of compassion? Can I celebrate the joy of another without envy or separation? This teaching reveals the consciousness of unity as sacred empathy.
Jeffrey Aylor:The one who sees all beings as part of one life has awakened beyond the small self. And now, offer this response as a quiet prayer. Divine presence within all beings, open my heart to shared suffering and shared joy. Let me see every life as part of my own life in you. May compassion become my way of seeing.
Jeffrey Aylor:Amen. Again in Hinduism. In the Chandogya Upanishad offers the great teaching Tattvam Asi, often translated, You are that. First, receive these words slowly. You are that.
Jeffrey Aylor:Now allow this teaching to become personal. What if the deepest truth of the soul is not separation from the divine, but participation in the divine? What if the light I seek is already shining within the deepest center of my being? This teaching invites us to remember the sacred identity beneath fear, ego, and illusion. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer.
Jeffrey Aylor:Eternal one, Help me remember who I am in you. Strip away the false self and awaken the divine light within me. May I see that same light in all beings. Amen. In Buddhism, in the Mahaparinirvana Sutra teaches that all beings have Buddha nature.
Jeffrey Aylor:First, receive this wisdom slowly. All beings have Buddha nature. Now allow this teaching to become personal. What if awakening is not reserved for a few, but hidden within every being? What if the light of awareness, compassion, and liberation is already present beneath confusion and suffering?
Jeffrey Aylor:This teaching mirrors the universal Christ by pointing to the awakened nature within all life. And now, offer this response as a quiet prayer. Awaken presence, help me see beyond illusion. Let me recognize the seed of awakening in myself and in every being. May compassion reveal the light already within us all.
Jeffrey Aylor:Amen. Again, in Buddhism, the Avadhamsaka Sutra presents a vision of profound interconnection, where every part of reality reflects every other part. First, receive this wisdom slowly. Each part reflects the whole. Now allow this teaching to become personal.
Jeffrey Aylor:What if nothing exists in isolation? What if every thought, every action, every prayer, and every act of kindness sends ripples through the whole web of life? This teaching helps us understand Christ consciousness as inner being. The awareness that the many are held within the one. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer.
Jeffrey Aylor:Infinite web of life, awaken me to the wholeness of which I am part. May my thoughts, words, and actions reflect compassion for the whole. Let me live as though nothing is separate. Amen. In Islam.
Jeffrey Aylor:In the Quran, Surah 17, verse 70. And we have certainly honored the children of Adam. First, receive these words slowly. We have honored the children of Adam. Now allow this teaching to become personal.
Jeffrey Aylor:Do I see every person as carrying sacred dignity? Do I honor those whose language, culture, religion, or life experience is different from mine? This teaching reminds us that human dignity is not earned by agreement, status, or belonging to our group it is bestowed by God. And now, offer this response as a quiet prayer. Merciful one, help me honor the dignity you have placed within every human being.
Jeffrey Aylor:Free me from contempt, superiority, and fear. Let me meet every child of Adam with reverence. Amen. In Islamic Mysticism. The Sufi tradition often speaks of the divine beloved as nearer than the breath and present in the surrendered heart.
Jeffrey Aylor:First, receive this wisdom slowly. The beloved is near. Now allow this teaching to become personal. Where am I searching outside myself for the love that is already near? Where is the divine calling me into surrender, remembrance, and intimacy?
Jeffrey Aylor:This teaching reveals the universal Christ as the beloved presence. Closer than thought, nearer than breath, awakening the heart through love. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Beloved of my soul, draw me into remembrance. Let my heart become a place of surrender, tenderness and peace.
Jeffrey Aylor:May your nearness awaken love in me for all beings. Amen. In Judaism. In the book of Isaiah chapter six, verse three. The whole earth is full of his glory.
Jeffrey Aylor:First, receive these words slowly. The whole earth is full of His glory. Now allow this teaching to become personal. What if the glory of God is not confined to temples, scriptures, or sacred ceremonies but fills the entire earth? What if every mountain, river, creature, body, and breath carries the radiance of divine presence.
Jeffrey Aylor:This teaching invites us to see creation itself as filled with sacred light. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Holy One, open my eyes to your glory in all things. Let me walk upon the earth with reverence. May I see your radiance shining through creation and respond with gratitude.
Jeffrey Aylor:Amen. Again, in Judaism. The book of Genesis teaches that humanity is created in the image and likeness of God. First, receive this wisdom slowly. Created in the image of God.
Jeffrey Aylor:Now allow this teaching to become personal. How would I treat others if I remembered that every person carries the imprint of the divine? How would I speak, listen, forgive, serve, and protect if I saw the image of God before me? This teaching mirrors the universal Christ by revealing the sacred dignity and divine reflection within every human life. And now, offer this response as a quiet prayer.
Jeffrey Aylor:Creator of all, help me honor your image in every person. Heal the places in me that forget the sacredness of another. Let my life reflect the dignity you have placed within us all. Amen. In Taoism.
Jeffrey Aylor:In the Tao Te Ching, chapter 34, teaches: The Tao is great, it flows everywhere. First, receive these words slowly. The Tao is great, it flows everywhere. Now allow this teaching to become personal. Where have I imagined the divine way to be narrow, rigid, or confined?
Jeffrey Aylor:What if the sacred flow moves through all life, quietly nourishing without needing control? This teaching helps us understand the universal Christ as the living way, not forced, not possessed, but flowing through all things. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Eternal way. Teach me to flow with humility and trust.
Jeffrey Aylor:Help me stop grasping and begin aligning. Let me recognize your movement everywhere life is being nourished. Amen. In Sikhism, the guru Granth Sahib teaches that from the one light, the entire universe welled up. First, receive this wisdom slowly.
Jeffrey Aylor:From the one light, entire universe welled up. Now allow this teaching to become personal. If all beings arise from the one light, who can truly be called stranger? Who can truly be called enemy. This teaching reveals the universal Christ as the one light shining through all forms, dissolving the illusion that one life is sacred and another is not.
Jeffrey Aylor:And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. One light Shine through my eyes. Help me see no stranger and no enemy. May I honor every being as arising from the same sacred radiance. Amen.
Jeffrey Aylor:In the Baha'i Faith. Baha'u'llah teaches, All the prophets of God proclaim the same faith. First, receive these words slowly. All the prophets of God proclaim the same faith. Now allow this teaching to become personal.
Jeffrey Aylor:Can I honor the divine voice speaking through many messengers across time? Can I recognize revelation as a continuing mercy, meeting humanity in different ages, cultures, and languages? This teaching reveals the universal Christ as the one light reflected through many clear mirrors. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. One source of all revelation.
Jeffrey Aylor:Help me honor every messenger of love, justice, mercy, and unity. Teach me to listen for your voice wherever it calls humanity toward wholeness. Amen. In Jainism, the Tattvara Sutra teaches: Souls render service to one another. First, receive these words slowly.
Jeffrey Aylor:Souls render service to one another. Now allow this teaching to become personal. What if every being is connected through mutual service? What if my awakening is not separate from how gently I live, how carefully I act, and how compassionately I serve? This teaching reveals unity as responsibility.
Jeffrey Aylor:The light within us becomes visible through non harm, reverence and care. And now offer this response as a quiet prayer. Holy life within all beings. Teach me to serve rather than harm. Let my presence become gentler.
Jeffrey Aylor:My choices more conscious, and my life more aligned with compassion. Amen. In indigenous wisdom, a teaching often attributed to chief Seattle says, all things are connected like the blood which unites one family. First, receive this wisdom slowly. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family.
Jeffrey Aylor:Now allow this teaching to become personal. Can I feel the universal Christ not only in people, but in the living earth? Can I recognize the sacred life force moving through trees, rivers, animals, ancestors, future generations, and the unseen world? This teaching reminds us that the light of unity is not abstract. It is relational, embodied, and alive in the whole circle of creation.
Jeffrey Aylor:And now, offer this response as a quiet prayer. Great Spirit, help me remember the sacred family of life. Teach me to honor the earth, the ancestors, the children yet to come, and all my relations. May I live as kin to the whole. Amen.
Jeffrey Aylor:Life is the light of all people. All may be one. All things held together, equal compassion for all beings. Buddha nature within all, sacred dignity in every child of Adam, the whole earth full of glory, the Tao flowing everywhere, one light giving rise to all, prophets as mirrors of one faith, souls serving one another. This is the universal Christ reflected through many windows.
Jeffrey Aylor:Not one form only, but one light. Not one language only, but one presence. Not one tradition only. But one sacred reality awakening wherever love becomes visible. Every tradition has its own beauty, depth, language, and way of seeing.
Jeffrey Aylor:Yet wherever the heart awakens to unity, the Christ light is shining. Wherever compassion embraces suffering, the Christ light is shining. Wherever dignity is honored, the Christ light is shining. Wherever creation is seen as sacred, the Christ light is shining. Wherever the soul remembers that nothing is separate and all is held in love, the universal Christ is alive.
Jeffrey Aylor:Let us close in prayer. Beloved source of all light. Open my heart to the universal Christ shining through every true teaching. Help me see the light of life in every person, every creature, every tradition, and every path that leads toward love. Free me from the illusion that you belong only to one name, one form, one people, or one religion.
Jeffrey Aylor:Teach me to honor Jesus deeply by allowing the Christ he revealed to awaken within me. Teach me to honor the prophets, sages, saints, mystics, elders, healers, and servants who have reflected your light across the ages. May I see with the eyes of unity. May I listen with the ears of compassion. May I speak with the voice of mercy.
Jeffrey Aylor:May I walk with the humility of one who knows that all life is sacred. Let Christ in all become Christ through me. Let the light I recognize become the love I embody. Let the consciousness of unity become the way I live. Om.
Jeffrey Aylor:Peace. Amen. Christ in all. Christ within all. Christ through all.
